Touring Caravan FAQ’s

What time is Check-in and Check-out for touring caravans?
Check-in is available from 1pm and Check-out is strictly before 12 midday. If it’s not extremely busy, there is a possibility for extension of stay if your pitch is not needed – €5 [to 3pm] and €10 [to 6pm] option. Check at Reception the day/evening before for availability.
Can I choose my own pitch?
During peak times, sites are allocated between 12 and 1pm once pitches become available so it’s not possible to choose. On arrival you are brought down to your pitch by a member of staff. When the touring area is less busy, you are welcome to choose between a number of available pitches.
If I’m holidaying with other families, will we all be pitched together?
If your group booking is made well in advance we will do our best to locate you in a group touring area. This is all dependent on the size of your group, availability of space and pre-bookings taken to date.
Will I have the option to connect to electrics on my touring pitch?
Yes, all of our touring pitches have an electrical point for you to hook up to. There is also a freshwater point, grey water drainage and light at each pitch. You do need to have your own electrical lead.
Can we use BBQ’s or Firepits at Morriscastle?
BBQ’s are more than welcome but must be up off the ground. Please avoid getting rid of your bbq or coals in our bins as this can cause fires – they can be left in our bin area to cool down. Supervised firepits are acceptable as long as they are controlled and put out when/if requested by security.
Can we bring our dog with our Touring Caravan?
Yes, dogs are more than welcome [we feel they’re a big part of the family!]. They must be kept on leads at all times and cleaned up after. They are also welcome on Morriscastle Beach through summer on leads.
